Seems my hiatus didn't last as long as I'd expected. I guess I'm so vain that I missed photographing myself. Picked up my camera for the first time since I finished my project so I could show off (if that's even the right word) my latest selfie. Enjoy yet another display of how I don't understand how to properly light portraits. Or how to look like a girl. :)
Aaahh... the elusive photo #366. I like the lighting in this, and that one side of your face is darkened (although you could add a reflector, piece of white cardboard, windscreen silver visor - yes I've used that before!!) to kind of 'fill in' the light a bit.
I think you look like a pretty girl. You have lovely earrings so that has to make you a girl right?! :D

You too could have selfies like mine if you take over 50 photos and find the one that's actually in focus with most of your body parts in the frame. :) I still haven't figured out a better formula for myself. Besides, to turn the tables on you I'm envious of the selfies you come up with. So there!
