Day 059, Year 4 - Mummy's Hut, Southwold

After dinner at my friends house the night before we all met up again the next morning for a wander and a bite to eat, on a sunny but very windy day in Southwold in Suffolk. After some food and coffee my friend Gemma and her family went home and left our friend Melissa and I to go to nearby Walberswick for dinner. It's not often I get weekends off in the time of good friends like this and I am looking forward to the next one.

I was thinking of a slightly more traditional shot of the famous Southwold beach huts but it was very windy and I spent a lot of my time keeping my hands warm. I snapped a few close up shots of the more colourful huts including this one which I think give the beach front some real character.

3 good things:

1 - Lovely brunch and a walk in Southwold
2 - Nice to wander round Walberswick as the sun dropped
3 - Dinner at the Anchor pub with my friend
I especially love the seagull.

Wow - thought it was a restaurant - now I find a beach hut! I wonder if it gets enough use!
