I think my butterfly looks almost like a fairy. I couldn't believe it when I saw her - such luck on my part - and ran for the camera. She stayed around because she was very intent on my blooming basil plant! Took about 10 pictures before she went on her way but I liked this one the best because I could see her holding on to the plant. So precious!
Oh, and be sure to notice the ants crawling around on the basil - I didn't even realize they were there until I looked at the pictures.
This is so cool. My granddaughters are all into fairies and when I seen this photo I thought it looked like one right away before I even read your description. Great capture. Thank you for sharing her with us.
Ohhh, I love it. Your butterfly is so beautiful as she clings to your basil plant bloom. And the ants .... it's always fun to look at a picture and see things you hadn't noticed with your naked eye.
