My daughter used to live one half mile from me. Last week she moved and now it takes almost 30 minutes to get there. This is a picture of my number one grandson out on the front porch on the day after the move. That beard makes me feel older - but he really is only 20 years old.
Awwww that's hard that she's further away. I'm going to have that same problem - my daughter will be moving further away, too. She lives about 10 minutes away now, but I'm afraid it will be 30-40 minutes when she moves. And then my son in Portland - well you can imagine how I feel. It's just not the same any more and I'm older and cranky sometimes. I just miss my kids like you do, too.
