Warning! by stownsend

Warning!

There really are a lot of falling trees in the area that we hiked in the summer of 2015 and I have a few pictures but it is hard to capture when you are tightly in the middle of it. We never saw any bears or any evidence of them. Hiking with a dog keeps most wildlife at bay.
I would have to have a BIG dog.

Not my kind of place to go for a walk ;-)

@mave @ludwigsdiana Oh, but I did have a big dog and the hiking was fabulous. Not another soul in sight. Thank you for visiting!!

Yeah but I think I would be more worried about stumbling onto a bear and her cubs

Like Rick said: I would be more worried about the bears than about any falling trees !

Hard hats needed and is there such a thing as bear repellent just in case of an encounter and I would be looking behind me all the time so I don't think I would be visiting but it does look a great place to hike.

We could easily post these signs around here thanks to Riley's damage. In fact several of our beautiful trails are closed indefinitely because so many of the trees are damaged and in danger of falling. Fun shot!

@digitalrn @bintal @wendyfrost @olivetreeann Thank you for your comments and your concern. When you see where we hiked you will understand that it was worth it - to me anyway!
