My husband, Kirby, is so adept at finding trails that I have come to expect it of him. We were enjoying a lovely hike on a well established trail when he stopped and said that he thought there was a trail taking off to the right. I sure didn't see it but I have learned to trust him so off we went. He was correct. It was a little used trail - maybe just by animals. (You can see it on the bottom right of the picture) It lead deeply into the trees and down a hill. It was by far the most beautiful hike I have ever experienced. It lead down to a dirt road that ran by a small lake. We had to head back (as I was getting tired) but a few days later we hiked around the lake.
