From the Seat of the Bike

I always keep the P&S handy when riding to catch interesting scenery. You never know what you might catch.

Wow! Look at that sky! Shame those wind turbines had to be there. (I'm not a big fan of those monstrosities. They wanted to put a dozen of them up around my house, destroying some of the most fertile farm ground in the USA in the process. Luckily funded failed. Before I get off my soap box I will say I think they have their place but not in the midst of people and farmable acreage. Okay, getting down now.) The old fences and the new inventions are great contrasts in this image.

@dianeburns @simta @pcoulson I have to come clean and admit to a bit of enhancement here. The original photo had a power line just over the wind turbines, which I removed in Photoshop. But that left a mark, so I did a bit of "sky painting" to blend in the edit. The sky was indeed blue, but not quite that blue. I hope that doesn't disqualify me!

@lyndemc You win the prize for catching some of what I was intending. It was the fence that caught my eye and indeed the contrast offered by the big spinny things. See above for my cheat on the blue sky. I sure can understand your resistance to them. In truth they provide minimal power, but they seem to make the idealists happy. Glad to hear you avoided their installation at your place.
