The coast is very different in Northern California compared to Southern California where I live. I have never seen such hues of blue in the water along the Pacific Coast. The contrast offered by the crashing waves against the rocks makes for some great photo opportunities.

I was uploading over 100 photos to my Flikr site to share the weekend's shots with my fellow riders and someone fav'd this during the upload. Now I NEVER get fav's on Flikr, but this guy grabbed it within seconds. So I said, huh, somebody likes it, so decided to fill a need for 365. This one was not enhanced much at all. The water was really as blue as that - I've never seen it like that anywhere along the California coast. Probably never will in the future too.
