What a catch!! I'd be ecstatic if I managed a photo like this. (I'm trying to figure out what created all the white bokeh around the feeder.)
Damn the blur fouling the reflection of me holding a frisbee and a camera up to my face for the sake of a photo! I looked back at the pics where her eyes were in focus but there's no reflection there either so you didn't miss anything.
@gilbertwood Thanks Denise - it was almost a shot with my hand. These guys scare the hell out of me when they buzz near my head - sounds like a helicopter!
@pcoulson Thank you kindly Peter! Seems like cheating when you take advantage of a feeder, but with that setting sun as a backdrop, I just had to do it. I have no shame.
@stray_shooter Well if taking shots of the birds at a feeder is cheating Ron I have sinned 3 times already this month, I'm not proud all mine count where ever they are taken lol:)
@stray_shooter Duh — I can see that now (that it's the ocean in the background.) You live that close to the water?? And lol *choke* about that word 'master'.
@lyndemc No, living within view of the ocean is a dream that will likely never be achieved. I'm a few miles inland, but this shot was taken from my cousin's home, where there is indeed a grand view of the Pacific. I'm envious!
So glad you pointed out the background information...I can see it now! What a view! And your hummingbird in flight...absolutely fabulous! A first rate winner!

I wait in vain for a photo of the master with a frisbee on her head. More photos of the doggy maybe?
(I'll send out a call for the date and place...)
