Sunset at the iconic Laguna Beach landmark....through the crystal ball. If you ever lack for attention, wander around Laguna with one of these. Quite the popular thing for curiosity seekers.
that's quite true. the last time i brought mine on a trip, i almost missed the sunset i've been waiting for because people kept coming up asking questions. i like the blue-ness of this shot and the sharpness of the reflected image. fabulous shot.
Score! That's just excellent, Ron, and wasn't that fun! Your life guard tower looks like a star in the spotlight on stage! Now I can't wait to get back out with mine again! (I'll say again, "That's REALLY cool!")
Fabulous shot and I loved your comment. I wander around Port Stephens with my crystal ball and I know what the looks are like. I usually manage to run before the men in white coats find me though. ha ha.
I'm feelin' bad for Terry @terryliv . We're all makin' him miserable.
Brilliant capture, Ron! Love the way the lights have created the bold bokeh on the bottom/top of the pic. You took this pic at the perfect time, with the sunset still giving color but dark enough for the lights to be seen. Fav!
Very cool shot Ron! I have one but haven't taken it on any photo shoots because 1-it's heavy and 2-I never thought about it. But after being inspired by your magical image I will have to try that.
@lyndemc Poor Terry. When he finally breaks I predict nothing but toys, B&W's and crystal balls - all in the same photos. Thanks for the praise, Denise - it's amazing how much of the post sundown light lends itself to rich shots. (Lightroom helps too!)
@joysfocus Thanks, Joy. I know just how you feel. I did find a use for those big lens cases that I never see anyone use - crystal ball holder! I look forward to seeing your crystal ball creations!
