Day 3 of the motorcycle adventure had us visiting Monument Valley, a fascinating area of rock formations. I tried the panorama option on the new camera. I probably doesn't look as good on 365 as it does on my own laptop, but it was too cool not to share.
Oh ,Ron, Awesome capture of a gorgeous setting. I have such memories of this place. I went there as a kid and teen with my parents who know someone who worked with the Goulding family.(We always took a collection of clothes, etc. for the locals.) This was before it was so commercialized and "regulated". One of my favorite memories is going out on a hill with a Navajo woman and daughter as they tended their sheep. It had to be 90 degrees, and they were both dressed in their beautiful velvet dresses. They had to be sweltering. Haven't been there for, probably, ten years now.....
@terryliv LOL! (perils of a new camera, I suspect!) @aglennc What wonderful memories. Just to read that was like looking at a lovely painting of bygone era!
And for you Ron, you are just "living the life"! How wonderful for you, and your growing photo compilation is fabulous. What a beautiful sight!!!
Wow fantastic Panoramic image Ron , its a magical place, we have been there a few times, last time we had an hour and half fight over it in a light aircraft , much better viewed at ground level in one of those visitors trucks, noticed this was taken at the side of newish visitors:) centre:)

Thanks to you all for the kind comments. The panorama worked out much better than I could have hoped for. You can take rides down into the valley, but being pressed for time, we had to opt for what we could get from the observation area. Given that, I was pleasantly surprised with the result. Yeah, Poppo, I thought I had the date set properly on the new camera, but it seems to have a mind of its own. I even have some 2016 photos (which 365 had a real tough time processing). Still haven't gotten that figured out.
