little wahoo takes a bubble bath by summerfield

little wahoo takes a bubble bath

little wahoo asked grandmere summerfield if she could have a bubble bath. she remembered that darren always loved having a bubble bath. grandmere said sure she can.

grandmere drew little wahoo her bath in a special porcelain tub and asked her if she would like the lavender bath foam that grandmere used. little wahoo asked if she could have instead the orange smelling foam bath that darren liked to use.

when grandmere poured the 'florida orange shower gel' by yves rocher (i ought to be paid a fee here for a plug in, n'est-ce pas?), the scent of orange wafted in the bathroom and little wahoo was so excited she jumped right in. she went with a big splash and grandmere was all covered in orange smelling bubbles. she said 'sorry' to grandmere and grandmere said it wasn't a problem and she poured more gel and little wahoo was covered in bubbles.

little wahoo says goodbye for now as her seven-day appearance on the same-subject challenge wraps up today. but don't worry, she might be back to bring grandmere some of the treasures she's looking for. thank you, everybody!

Little Wahoo- you are a fav for me! I love your interest in exploring the world and I think Grandmere Summerfield should think about story books for toddlers because they explore the world just like you! I've enjoyed your adventures for the last 7 days and feel like they've ended way too soon!!

This series really was adorable Vikki and I could see my granddaughter absolutely loving the Adventures of Little Wahoo.

Bye Wahoo! You clever woman you! What a fantastic shot and story. And yes, you should be paid a fee for the free ad regarding yves rocher. N'est-ce pas! :)

@olivetreeann - ann, thank you for your kind words. you flatter me (and little wahoo) so much. i've been thinking of venturing into writing children's stories/book, but apparently there is a formula to follow. little wahoo was just a lark, but if i get her into the series i've drafted, she won't be this little cow as i would have to find someone to create an original 'toy' to assume little wahoo's personality. maybe i will work with my sister in manila as she is a very good artist. but i'm hanging on to this dream as maybe this is where my niche lies as a writer. thank you so much for your input and encouragement, ann. it means a lot to me.

@summerfield Sounds like a wonderful idea- this Little Wahoo can be a model for an illustration though. As long as your drawing is not a point for point replica there would not be any copyright violation there. In other words, you can draw a picture of your own little purple cow who is inspired by this little purple cow. I learned this in a writer's group I was in after writing some poetry whose meter and flow was very much like a well-known children's author. Others were encouraging me to seek publishing it, but I was afraid of copyright issues. In the end the same principle applied. You can't copyright meter and timbre, but if I'd used the same words, then there would have been a problem!
