I have to admit that in shooting a same subject 365 project I am feeling a bit lonely. So I am issuing a challenge to my fellow 365ers. I realize some of you are very busy around the holidays so I am going to run this challenge til the end of January.
The challenge is this.... Pick a single subject, any subject you want (mine is an aqua colored bottle). Shoot that same subject for one week.Tag all 7 of your photos with SSC. you are welcome to submit more than 1 week so feel free to shoot a different subject a following week.
At the end of contest I will pick 10 finalists and hold voting for 1 week.
I will post the winner and all 7 of their photos for that subject
I will also post the 2nd and 3rd place photo.
When choosing the finalists I will be looking for photos that show creative use of subject. So put on your creative caps and get clicking, but above all have fun. Don't forget to tag SSC so I can find them easy.
@shuterfly I hadn't seen this challenge before- glad you posted it again! I'm not sure which week I'll do this, but it looks like a great challenge to finish off the year.
@shuterfly Oh...never thought to do that. I will have to try it, but maybe during the last half of Dec when I am off from teaching school. I have three albums, so I could just use one of those for these pics. Problem is, the shooting one thing takes some extreme creativity and talent. Not sure I am up for it!
I might try this; no promises though.... I'm doing the opposites challenge and it is not always easy; can't imagine how difficult it can be taking pictures of the same object
Ok so after reading some of the feedback I am see a lot of " I'm not sure what to shoot." so i am going to put a suggestion out there.The item doesn't need to be anything really special. Truth be told my bottle came out of one of the boxes of free items that gets put aside of the road after it doesn't sell in the weekend lawn sale,
So my suggestion is gather 4-5 smaller items and put them in a box and ask someone else to pick one without looking. Hope this helps a little.
I love this idea and your pictures with the bottle are amazing.
I'm doing a themed 365 project as well - each picture every day will be one of my Ball Jointed Dolls. So it's sort of the same subject every day (a BJD) but not the exact same one every day. ^^
I haven't even mentioned in here that I'm participating! I'm nearly finished my first week with my blue tea cup. They're not all that creative, the first few days took me a bit to get into it.
I'd like to do another week with a pair of sunnies, or a book I'm reading.
My SSC pics are in my 'On the Side' album, not my 365 album. :)
