mango mousse with passion fruit coulis on a fluffy chocolate cake base and covered in a dark chocolate cup. i don't really care for the mousse part, but that chocolate cover is so thick and über delicious i seriously need more! that coloured ring on top is actually white chocolate.
@sarasdadandmom - don't think so, officer. i actually lost five pounds in the last five weeks. my naturopath doctor said so :-) which means i can eat more before i go see her next in early june. thank you, terry. and if they do come to execute that warrant, i'll bring them to the patisserie next door. tee-hee!
Okay .. I agree with @sarasdadandmom. You need to be served that warrant for tempting all of us!! LOL However, I take that raspberry AND that piece of chocolate laying there beside it. Then they can haul you away! :) Don't worry, I'll try to bail you out.
@jannkc - the asian mango is abundant now in chinatown, they're the kind that is almost like the ones grown in the old country. the kind from mexico, ataulfo mangoes, is a hybrid from the old country, brought over by the spaniards to mexico. that's what you should look for, and the fruit should be firm and the skin yellowish and smooth. if there's some speckle of green it means it's not fully ripe and you might want to leave it on your counter for a day or two. the taste should be sweet. (look at me giving lesson on mango! hahahaha!). well, thank you, jann.
that looks delish. not a speck of cheese anywhere near it. i am sitting here eating a muffin just out of the oven that i made from dried cranberries. converted a blueberry recipe and it came out great.
