photobombed (again!) whimsy

during the interactive theatrical performance of the days leading to the war of 1812, this tall ship acted as the invading americans' ship. you can make out the thin film of smoke from the cannon they just fired as part of the act.

i saw the approaching porter plane but i thought it was too far to get in my frame as i tried to shoot the ship with the remnant smoke. i also included the bowsprit of another tallship that was moored by the boardwalk. i had to laugh when i saw that the darn airplane made it well in to the shot. i thought it's kind of whimsy to have the modern day aircraft along with the old ships.

I like it there. I love when the tall ships come here. But I've never seen one like that.
