friday is same shape day in september and the shape i've chosen is cylinder or cylindrical. we encounter this shape in the ordinary course of our daily lives, and the best example of cylindrical shaped things are canned goods such as soup, tuna, vegetables and milk, to name a few.

i think this has to be the most boring photograph i've ever posted. never mind, tomorrow, it's cake time! but don't tell terry.
in downtown toronto today, we honoured our olympics and paralympics athletes with a parade. i got quite a few photos and shook hands with a few of them. i shall be posting some of those photos in the next few days.

It's definitely more interesting than recycle symbols. You were on the right track with the selective coloring- it just needed a few more highlights I think. Maybe some red.
i was going to leave the shot as is, but the colours were too bright to the point of distracting, and nothing i did appealed to me so i opted for selective colouring. ann, i tried it with the red on the tomato but it was too loud, too. so it came to this. in hindsight, i could've tried just sc'd one can and left others black and white, it probably would've been better to look at. but what's done is done. i ran out of time last night doing other stuff (not 365!! for shame eh?). thanks, ladies.
Not boring to me...I just shot some Cambell's soup cans over the weekend!! They were 50th anniversary Andy Worhal's pop art labeled....so I love your cans!!!
