appreciative

i am such an independent person that i prefer to do things on my own, my way, my time. however, i realize from the outset that that is not possible. 'no man is an island' as the saying goes.

for example, i believe in showing appreciation for our past, for our history. i am always in favour of preserving old buildings to remind us where we started from to get to our present on our way to the future.

today, partner and i drove to london to take little jack to a movie and of course to see little ivy jean, too. london has a lot of old buildings and houses and if one who is engaged in photography wants to photograph old buildings and structures without a lot of interfering factors like parked cars and wires, this is an ideal place. the above building was spotted right next to the western fair market.

thank you, ladies and gentlemen, for your kind views and comments; know that i sincerely appreciate them. i shall catch up on yours as soon as we get back to toronto.

my second entry for the on-going artist challenge is posted here: http://365project.org/summerfield/365/2012-11-10
I love old buildings such as this! In fact, the house I live is a mere 106 years old! Love the character and history!
