cold enough for you? by summerfield

cold enough for you?

it seems the lake and i have a thing going. because after yesterday's near mishap, where would you have found me today? at the boardwalk because from a distance, i espied the masts of a tallship so i directed partner to bring me to the harbourfront. so under partner's watchful eyes, i ventured for about five minutes to take a photo of the tall ship 'caledonia', and these canoes stacked away for the winter. what attracted me was the sheet of ice breaking over the surface of the water - it was kind of warm at some minus temperatures but without the pesky wind so it was quite tolerable.

and partner asked: 'what happened to the tall ship?" filler file, i suppose.

thank you for your kind views and comments; they are much appreciated.

good way to portray the cold......!

the sheets of ice are great, but even more interesting to me are the lines of canoes and the way the buildings go from lowest on the left to highest on the right ~
