this flower was just screaming to be photographed. there's an italian grocery that i pass by on the way to the subway station. they always have plants for sale which clogs that part of the sidewalk. the old man, probably the owner, once told me to not take photographs of his plants. so i never. but the other morning, i passed by and i couldn't resist when i saw how pink this lily was. so, risked being seen by the grumpy owner and i took three shots of this flower. sometimes the nikon captures the actual colour of the subject, which in this case i obviously like.
