at path's end

what better way to close the month of joy than to post a photo with my beloved in it. we went to a newly-discovered park north of the city and there was a pathway in the woods to get to the other end of the park. at one time, because i need to stop and take photos (because that's the reason i was there), i lost the old bugger and it took a while before i found him. he was standing at the end of the path with his hands akimbo, seemingly annoyed that i was always lagging behind. i thought it was really nice so i shot him.

partner would've had a lot of holes in his body for the many times I've shot him if i was not using a camera but something else. :-P

thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that i do appreciate them so much.
His pose is very expressive! The light behind him is lovely and the green alongside is lush!

I think our partners are saints for always accompanying us on our photography excursions and patiently standing by while we are searching for just the right picture or the perfect light! He definitely seems to have reached the end of his "rope"....great capture!
