get pushed #51 - inspired by a movie

@elsbels helen, my get pushed partner this week has challenged me "to create a photo inspired by an iconic scene from a movie - perhaps a favourite of yours. This doesn't need to be an exact replica but your own interpretation... so let your imagination run wild.."

not exactly a scene from that movie, but this is what i imagine that phrase "because i said so", you know, what our mothers would tell us when we were young and we didn't want to obey or just because we had other ideas of our own.

these two lovely girls from our mailroom are such sweethearts to pose for me. they are such hardworking kids and they have to use their break time to pose for me. i love them to bits.

thank you for your kind visits and comments; i do appreciate you all.
Wow- pearls and dangly earrings in the mailroom! That job pays well! Fun shot- they are real troopers!

@elsbels - helen, a first try; trying to cook up one more. :-)

@olivetreeann - i don't think the girls are paid well. they're overworked and most times mistreated. but they surely don't dress like their other colleagues or like some of the assistants in the office. you should see those assistants, wearing what i would wear to the market on weekends. ack! thank you, ann.

You do come up with some creative shots

It's a phrase we all remember! The girls did a great job of posing for you, great shot.

Ahh i remember those words being said to me, at the moment me and my wife don't have to say this too much to our daughter, long may it continue, but that brings back such memories. Good thinking out of the box...

Great shot to match the saying!

very good and your movie style framing makes the shot

Oh gosh I say this to my sons!! A great interpretation - very creative! I love too how you came up with the idea of getting the girls at work to pose for you - sounds like such fun.I can't ever imagine my colleagues being so cooperative! The framing finishes it off perfectly. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with next!

Who starred in this movie? I am not sure if I saw it or not. Your coworkers made great movie poster models!
