i walked farther from my building to find this sunflower. just one is all i asked for and one is all i got. i need to go south of the border to find these sunflower fields. i almost resorted to buying a bunch for an arm and a leg but i need both my arms and legs to do my photographic pursuit.
this does not mean, however, that my quest for sunflower is over yet. no!

They are such a beautiful cheery flower! The lady around the corner who sells veggies sometimes grows and sells them too. But thankfully they don't cost an arm or a leg!
