i've been wanting to do this cornfield shot but with a ghost-like figure like in the movie. i could've done it today when we stopped by this cornfield down at baden, ontario. only thing was it was so bright i couldn't get my settings right. i might have pulled it off had i not forgotten to bring my nd filter, plus the driver was getting antsy even though it amused him to watch me press the shutter, run to my spot then slowly walk away, look at the screen then stomp foot in disgust, then do it all over again. i think at one point i even pulled my hair. i gotta do that sort of thing with my photo buddies. so, overlay is my final resort.
then he pointed out to me as i took my selfie, that i was holding the ball with my left hand and the mitt in my right hand. the mitt is for a right handed person which means i should have it on my left hand. but i can knuckle hold the ball only with my left hand. he wanted me to throw him a pitch but thought better when he realized his car is only seven months old. tee-hee!
this is for the five plus two's down on the farm theme this week. i did a jesse pose http://365project.org/fiveplustwo/365/2014-07-18 jumping by the cornfield but it was more ridiculous than funny so in the reject file it went.
@maggiemae - life is what we make it, maggiemae. thank you.
@cheribug - i love the story, not too excited about kevin costner, and yes, i might be the only person who doesn't find him appealing. thank you, my cheribug.
Very creative! When I first looked at this I was on my phone and had major problems trying to work out the picture. Then I read your narrative and the mud cleared and now I cannot understand why I couldn't make out what the picture was!
Lovely field of dreams! And I have a feeling that expression is for partner- watch out! Your car is within striking distance. Now let me take my picture in peace!
@amandal - thanks, pretty lady!
