first day of the 'one week only' challenge and the fare for today is motion shot. subway shots are reserved for the northster so i was aiming for some panning shots. i stood behind a light standard on front street (hoping that none of my officemates would notice me) and waited for cyclists.
i did get a few good ones, but i saw this old lady running to cross the street to get to union station perhaps or the bus terminal; there was only 5 seconds for her to do so but it's a four-way lane so it's not quite possible. she was really running quite fast and i couldn't quite focus on her well. but i'm happy with this, she was a lot faster than the cyclists.
if you haven't considered it yet, please join us in this lovely exercise called one week only.
see here.
and thank you to those who are joining in on this little exercise. hope you find it beneficial. tomorrow, it's high key still life.

also tagging for the current street challenge.
and once again, i forgot to re-set my ISO as i was shooting in the dark the other day. but can you believe the f/1 on this?
She does look concerned that she wont quite make the appointment on time. There is certainly a feeling of movement throughout the whole scene but with the focus and full colour resting clearly on the lady, and her look of concentration, she is certainly the main character of the show.
