this is @northy 's corner/turf/haunt/territory; can you find her?
those people who are taking photos looking up, they're taking photos of themselves being shown on the big screen above the opposite corner building. there was a promotion nearby where they take your photo and then flash it on the big screen. i think it was for some cleaning products. you spray three of the dozen smaller screens at the booth and the lady wipes it off to reveal if there's an iPad behind one of the screens. course i didn't win anything because i never win anything. the crew wanted me to pose so they can flash my face on that big screen but i took a picture of them instead. tee-hee!
Great street capture! That's quite a crowd around, we might see that number of people on a Saturday morning when all the farm labourers come into the village!
This whole scene just has me laughing- from the "butt" bending lady to the "hey I'm on the big screen!" photographer to the "Find Jesus and Mary in the Koran" poster and everyone else who's running through the shot completely oblivious to their surroundings. If Northy is in this picture I wouldn't recognize her without her head being partially cut off. (o: Great candid- it could be a jigsaw puzzle!
hehe, that sets you apart from just those cheesy selfie phone pictures. As far as @northy you didn't see her because she was capturing a photo of you in it! Love the story street shot
@olivetreeann - hahaha! i took it primarily for the girl bent over and that jesus placard. thank you, ann.
@myhrhelper - thank you, KB. hard to recognize me in a crowd like that, methinks.
@northy - thank you, my friend. there was not much action around - just people milling by and the drum players, who were packing it up when i took this. i was mindful that i was stepping on your digs, you know. :-)
