i tried to do rim lighting but i re-read the rules and flowers aren't allowed as subjects. oh, well. this bird of paradise and daisy blooms are leftovers from last week's reception flowers and they're still looking fresh. the bird of paradise certainly should be fresh because it was still semi-closed up when i got it, the daisy is probably a freak breed.
in camera conversion to black and white then added my name tag in ribbet.
I've been trying to do some shots for this challenge too -it is tricky getting it to be rim lighting and not low key. I think the flower shot rule was just about translucent flowers, at least that's how I interpreted it. This is a great shot! Fav
