apropos to today's mad minute word. my posting for the mad minute word abligurition is a shot of some godiva chocolates i had procured today. it is therefore quite fitting that i post this photo that i have unearthed from my first european trip in the mid 80's.
when i arrived in Brussels in 1984, the first place my then beloved brought me to was the grand place and what did i see first when we got there? yup! the godiva chocolatier shoppe. i was like a kid in a candy store, you could imagine. well, i was in a 'candy store' and being rather short-ish, i was like a kid. and just to let you know, the man manning the white ice cream cart was flirting with me, he even gave me an extra scoop of ice cream. my then beloved of course was not amused.
