how many vegetable peelers can one household have? i have five - these three and two more with brush attachments. heaven knows if i would find more when i open the other drawers. i'm pretty sure there are others lurking somewhere! :-)
and this shot was an accident. i was going for the back light or rim lighting effect but the darn peelers kept falling off. (where are those clay putties when you need them? i swear the dollar store's entire stock is in my household but i can't find any of them.) so i started to swear and huff and puff and pout and i was about to throw a really bad tantrum when i accidentally (i promise) kicked the lamps and they fell and in the process the camera, which was on self-timer, and just when i was straightening the lamps, it clicked. i gave up, but this shot turned out to be the best of the lot. kinda like rockets being launched, ain't it?
the top drawer in my kitchen is like a bag of magic tricks! gadgets galore that i accumulated when i first learned to cook in manila, then in europe and oman, and of course when i can't find anything, i just buy more. i'm going to hell for three of the seven deadly sins - lust (for gadgets!), greed (for more gadgets!) and gluttony for even more gadgets! i should start atoning by having some ice cream. heck, where's my ice cream scooper? :-)

Having a spare is an excellent thing. Five might be going overboard just a bit. Does the brush attachment augment the peeling, or an alternate option to peeling? I've never seen one (but then I'm a pretty provincial hick - lots I've never seen.) :-)

Launching peelers! What is happening to our world...... Love those flashes. I have only one peeler and the thought of it failing worries me as then I will have to replace it.
I will only admit to two peelers (peters?) and in your defense, Vicki, they do sometimes slide to the back of the drawer and hide there.... Sometimes for years!
