if you take this shell and hold it to your ear, you will hear the sound of silence. provided you don't talk.

I recently heard a cover version of Sound of Silence that was just absolutely amazing. It's by a band called Disturbed. I will try to find the YouTube link and post it for you.
@salza - i found it on youtube. i liked it, until it got to the part where he was just yelling. not a fan of yelling/singing. but he had a good voice for the song. thanks, my friend.
Well done! It's only the Conch shells that you can hear the ocean in I think, so it's definitely silent. It's a pretty one too. Love the detail in the ridges which you captured.
