it's about time by summerfield

it's about time

i'm embarking on a new challenge for myself this year. it involves my lovely little powder blue clock. it may involve some self portraits as well but i will try to stay out of it if i could (see, i already did as my first idea was to take a photo of me taking a photo of the clock).

the plan is to portray time using common time phrases. i'm sure you will agree with me that with the same subject as a mundane alarm clock (powder blue its colour maybe) for 52 weeks would be a little insane. actually i was thinking 365 photos of the same thing, but then that wouldn't just be insane, it's [bleep!] madness of the superior level.

this also serves as my entry for week 1 of the 52-week challenge (see https://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/30836/52-week-challenge-2018 ) which is 'vision' for the new year, a new beginning, a look ahead. my entries for this challenge may or may not be about little blue, but little blue will appear weekly for sure.

i hope you, kind folks, had a good new year's celebration and here's to a more prosperous and productive year for all of us!

The use of negative space make your clock the star of this image.

haha....I thought those were chocolate-covered almonds in the foreground, and you were waiting before eating them! OK...hey, at first glance that's not far off the mark, knowing you, right? It could easily have been a New Year's resolution to wait before diving in....

I do look forward to seeing more of little blue. Certainly worthy of a few shots, and a few more. I'm sure the time theme will have lots of scope for one of your imagination. Roll on 2018.
