i braved the cold early this evening to see what the creek near my building looks like. a passerby asked me if the camera still works at the cold temperature we're having. another man told me the creek looks much better in the summer when everything has colours. the creek is mostly frozen apart from this portion but water still flows underneath the icy cover.
i see faces on the frozen rocks, do you? i see a smiling snowman with a top hat. i see a lion and i see a bear. why, i can even see barbra streisand, or is that barry manilow?
i've missed shooting outdoors. but not the aftermath - my knees were sore and red and itchy, from too much exposure, i suppose. i probably would wait for a much decent temperature before i do it again.
i tried to remove the blue hue but i suppose that's from the polarizer on the lens.
My snowy pictures often look blue but in a way both the white and black show blue as either shadow or highlight. I love the faces you pointed out. Fun shot
