fountain at brookfield place by summerfield

fountain at brookfield place

this is the centrepiece fountain at the concourse of brookfield place where yesterday's photo was taken. there's a lot of possibilities with this fountain, i just have to be there when there's not a lot of humans lazing around the ledge, which means after office hours. i couldn't really stay too far away as rude humans kept photobombing me so that the end result is that the left edge is cut off from the frame.

background blurring was deliberate.

I like the shiny lines and the light and dark.

this is intriguing... really difficult to get a sense of scale from this image...

can one get in there on the weekend? is it emptier?

@northy - this is by the marchè restaurant. when you go towards the right there's the door going out to front street and the hockey hall of fame. we've been here when we went for that nuit blanche a couple of years ago. Weekend here is chaotic but not on a Sunday perhaps.

A fabulous shot, it certainly is an eyeful of shiny what appears to be metal. Would love to see the scale of this in colour.

Very interesting fountain. Love the processing.

Great capture, Vikki. It looks to be a very large fountain. Very unusual. I love the focus on the fountain and the blurring of the background. Well done...even with though the rude humans kept getting in your way.

ah - not at all reindeer like then! I struggled to work out the scale from this photo, but it must be quite large. People are so unco-oprerative at times, the only time they stay out of the way is when you are waiting for them to walk into your frame.

Looks good in b&w. Pity about the madding crowd.
