it's not easy being green by summerfield

it's not easy being green

i almost posted a photo of a green apple. it was a good photo of a green apple, but the green just wasn't to my liking - i passed it through photoshop, ribbet, befunky, picmonkey and still i couldn't get its true green. so i settled for my badly battered zucchinis. tomorrow these will be in a lovely risotto.

Hey terrific composition with a beautiful color for the challenge. I like the little drops of water the very shallow DOF and the fact that you even have a little bokeh.

I love that word zucchini. I call it a courgette! Funnily enough, we had some with our dinner last night :) Lovely shot.

A fine shade of green you ended up with :) Zucchini is a staple for me.

Perfect focus and DoF. Risotyo sound like a good fate for them. I like their green color.

I got two of those in my veg bag yesterday but it didn't occur to me to photograph them. Nice shot.

I love zuccini, they're so versatile, and so yummy too.

A nice focus on the zuchinni.

A great green shot - love the depth of field which has them blurring into the background.

Green apples can be tricky. If you add too much editing, the green on them looks unnatural. But this was a good compromise. A nice dark green color!
