the fire hydrant song

someone, i forgot exactly who so pardon moi, posted a similar half and half photo and i promised (no, i threatened) that i may have to emulate said fire hydrant shot. during my after supper walk, i chanced upon this lonely fire hydrant by the trail and since i only have my iPhone with me, i thought this would be my shot for today. this is my shameless emulation and my heartfelt thanks to that someone.

i'm trying to capture the fireworks happening in front of me and i'm not having any luck. my eyes aren't suited for night photography.

I love all the different colored fire hydrants. The ones in our neighborhood are red, but there are some other colors around town. Great half and half.
