my Tuesday post https://365project.org/summerfield/365-still/2024-09-10 you all did a good job spotting the anomaly in the photo. today, i was in the vicinity again and found, as i got out of the building, that the afternoon sun was again shining brightly. it was also a rather warm day, we hit 26 degrees today with no breeze. if one was in the shade, it would not be so bad. as you can see here, again the shadows are pointing the wrong way when the sun is behind me. the buildings, especially that one with all its glass windows and walls, were reflecting the light on the pedestrians who were shaded by the building behind me. you get the picture?
the lower building on the right is a police headquarter. you normally won't see any of the eye candies er...police officers around unless there is an incident like the stabbing on Tuesday. according to reports, the victim was in serious but not life-threatening condition. one of the suspects was already apprehended. despite that incident, travel using our transit system is generally safe.
