although i can't swim well, i love the sea and i am drawn to water. i love just walking on the sand and letting the waves wash over me. i love the touch and feel of it. it certainly cast a spell on me every time. but i do have great respect for its power and the multitude of things it can do.
for the 23rd week of the 52-week challenge, the challenge is " Vision: No Peeking - Shoot as if you were using a film camera. That means that you will not look at the photographs you've taken until they are downloaded on your computer."
i put my camera down on the sand and almost got washed over by the waves, just clicking the shutter to capture the waves as they break. got a few and didn't see them until tonight and rather happy that this one shot came out straight. i had to crop the bottom at post though.
makes me really want to retire in an island. or somewhere near the sea.

Feel the same way. Well done on the straight horizon - I found myself straightening the horizon rather a lot on my recent coastal visit shots. I guess I'm not used to having one to worry about. This is lovely. Enjoy your time at the seaside.
