gearing up for a painting project that's in my head. the stones aren't really stones but merely pebbles the size of my thumbnail. with a bit of zoom lens magic they look like regular stones. these, especially the three bottom ones, would make for fun water skimming, if they were regular-sized stones. i learned to skim from my cousins when i was a little girl and i'd tail them to the river where they'd go swimming. they hated it when i was around because they'd need to keep their pants on and the parents would know they'd been at the river and they're not allowed to go especially if i was with them. i'd go with the pretense that i would find the best stones for them when i would actually pocket the best ones so i could best them at skimming. it took them a looooong time to realize my modus operandi but by that time, i was no longer interested in going with them.🤣
posting early as i will try to sit down and try to polish up that speech i need to record for submission on monday. yes, the three sentences that i have come up so far. 😜
