Congratulations, Southeastern College, on reaching an impressive milestone of celebrating 75 years of its founding.
Four years of high school studies had been an important period of my young life. The great teachers and educators that Southeastern College employed helped in refining the character that had been moulded by my parents. My teachers, Mr. and Mrs. Nograles, Miss Marilyn Vitasa, Miss Amelia dela Cruz, Mrs. Alcera and Mrs. Monta to name a few, taught me not only the subjects for which they specialized, but because of their excellent teaching styles, they had inculcated those subjects in my mind which, incredibly enough, I still find some use even to this day.
William Arthur Ward correctly wrote that "The good teacher explains, the superior teacher demonstrates, but the great teacher inspires." However, I believe that it also takes a great institution to pool together a group of such inspiring educators. My teachers taught me and inspired me -- to do well, to do good, to put in 100% in everything I do, and that learning is a continuing process even when we're no longer in school.
To all the current students of Southeastern College, you are so blessed and so lucky to be learning under the roof of this great institution. Do well and learn well. Make your school proud, and be proud of your school.
Thank you, Southeastern College, and congratulations. May you educate and inspire many more young minds in the next 75 years and beyond.

i don't like the word "employed" but my mind is drained and i'm lazy to open a dictionary to look for a better word.
now to record this...i need to check if the remote works on the video of the camera.
Absolutely amazing! I am incredibly impressed! You used a quote that I used this summer in a speech that I gave to a group of teachers on the opening of school here. Perhaps I will send you a copy of my speech!
Your photo is fabulous and accompanies the speech so perfectly! Giving you a FAV,
@helenhall - no, but i videotaped myself reciting the testimonial, although i'm still trying to figure out how to send it as it is something like 77MB. i may have to upload it on youtube but i'm waiting for the school's PR manager to give me further instructions.
@summerfield use Wetransfer - it is a reliable site and you can use it for free - you just need to enter the email of the recipient and they can down load from the site. After a week or so it gets deleted.
Well said- perhaps ...had on their staff...instead of employed? But if you've recorded it already to be honest, I don't think employed is all that bad! Our photo club uses Dropbox for large files. Same idea as Helen's site and the basic "box" is also free. I also like the image that goes with it.
What a thoughtfully written testimony to your former alma mater! They'll be delighted to receive this, and your photo (which is what caught my eye) is a perfect image for your school days spent there! Beautifully accomplished! I do hope you received my thanks I sent after Christmas! I know it takes *forever* to get mail across the border (as reported by friends in Lunenburg), but I saved a copy if you didn't get it so you'll know how much the gift was appreciated! Happy New Year!
