I'm not a fan of squirrels as many of you already know, because they hog all the bird seed, but this little guy was so friendly I decided to include him in the album. Besides, he makes a cute thumbnail! lol

i know what little "hogs" that they can be!! But they're fun to watch too! We have tried and tried many methods to keep them away from our feeder . . but they are so smart and agile AND clever. Great photo, Anne.
How can you not find this little critter adorable! Look at his big eyes and tiny little mittens...maybe you can coax him to share! I used to have a family of squirrels in our wood pile and they would constantly be 'sassing off' our dog for barking! It was hillarious to listen to them!
Oh my gosh! He is ADORABLE! His frazzly little tail and nibbly paws and mouth. He just looks so animated even though he is sitting still. Love the angle and the tail background! fav fav ! Squirrel shots are hard to get.
I see why you included it. I don't like raccoon's so I sympathize because every now and then one looks cute to me, and then I remember how one killed my macaw.

Wonderful close up. I can't get too close to mine or they take off. Something has trashed our bird feeder night after night so I find it broken and on the ground. I think it is a raccoon.
Well you managed to get in there pretty close for not liking squirrels, and he is quite cute too. It does look like he is having a bad hair day though, LOL at least the top of his tail.
I'm not a big squirrel fan either, Anne - They can do tremendous amounts of damage to your home. They get in our attic and eat holes in walls - despite efforts to screen off vents, etc...that they use to enter the attic. Like you, though, I think they're cute sometimes and enjoy watching them.
