Santa Drives a Chevy by sunnygreenwood

Santa Drives a Chevy

Well, as they say, timing is everything. We were walking towards the main drag of the small town where our son and his family live, to join in the Christmas festivities. Lo and behold, there on a side street, were Santa and Mrs Claus climbing out of their car. My daughter-in-law and I were ahead of of the rest of the family and enjoyed the view as Santa waited for our 4 year old granddaughter [and her Poppa, Dad and baby sister] to catch up with us. She had a great old chat with both Santa and Mrs Claus. Turns out she wants a snowboard. Who knew!

Many thanks for dropping by.
Great catch, Anne...good timing. Snow board...is that like a skate board? Adorable photo!

@cimes1 thanks carole! yes, a snow board is bigger tho. Her parents both snow board. Typically tiny kids start off skiing before getting on a snowboard and that will likely be the route for her. But then again, she's a determined little one too ... lol. we'll see.

@sunnygreenwood Thanks, Anne. And how can I forget the last Winter Olympics....I followed all the snow boarders. I think it's too early in the AM to think--LOL! She's starting early. Hope she gets her wish!

Excellent timing. It good to know what they want early. I guess the Chevy is their second vehicle. They need snow for the sleigh.

I love this shot, and the fact that Mr. and Mrs. Claus are looking towards the children is so perfectly appropriate. That's as it should be! Secret wishes whispered to Santa are such a magical part of the season (and they're a huge help to Santa's helpers who actually pull off the big event. I miss these days so much...
