Here's just one more pic showing off the beautiful sunny morning, this time in the same stretch of road as this fall shot that ended up being so well received: http://365project.org/sunnygreenwood/365/2011-09-25 It's one of Barry and Kala's favourite places to walk.
Glad you are enjoying the winter scenes. Many thanks for dropping by.
What a beautiful POV on this one, Anne. I wouldn't mind that snow right now for just a few more winter scenes! Especially one as gorgeous as this composition. LOVE that person (husband?) walking down the road with the dog. Great shot. :)
@karenann thanks karenann, you always make such thoughtful comments and i appreciate it very much. yes, that's my husband. i guess now i'll have to get the spring and summer shot on the same road.
I'm loving your winter scenes, Anne! And I knew exactly which photo that link was going to lead to even before I clicked on it. I love the idea of four seasons of this same incredible shot. Just love it!
I love the angle.. makes the trees just loom up so tall! So this is right now? Wow. Winter wonderland. It has been in the 60s most days here lately...warmest winter we have had in a while. Last winter, for GA, it was rough....ice, snow, and cold....more than usual. So now we are almost tropical this year....weird.
I grew up with snow nine months of the year and year round if we went to the mountains. I miss it so much at times but also love it here. Your pictures are the next best thing to being there.
I remember days like this when I lived in New England. I have a similar shot that I took at my sister, Bev Carmichael's, house in VT on a snowy day. Like her, I can hear the crunch of the footfalls on this snow.
Thank you for sharing.
