The Red Squirrels come out of their little dens regularly to stock up on food. I'm not a fan of squirrels at all but I like the lighting in this shot so here it is!
What a lovely shot - we only have grey squirrels where I live and they can be a bit of a menace but I do think they look sweet. This is a gorgeous shot - fav
They are a pain, you have to seal all the bird feeder up to stop them eating everything. However they are so amusing to watch and soooo photogenic. Great close up.
We don't have red squirrel around here - just the gray ones, so it's a real treat to see one "up close and personal" The lighting is perfect - and I love the white ring around its eyes!
the details are so vivid and lucky you catching the perfect lighting. i was trying to photograph a squirrel and i almost fell down the ravine and still it won't give me a good photo except of it's rear end. damn squirrel! i like your photo though.
The light is perfect. I don't have many squirrels in my yard, so I always wonder how anything that cute could have such a bad reputation. No doubt I would figure it out if they were raiding my bird feeder. The light on the tail is so warm. Great shot.
