Here are the daffodil shoots that I first noticed popping out of the ground yesterday morning. Yay!!! We had a major rain and hail storm starting at supper time last night. The rain went on for hours and these little hail stones were still all over the ground this morning. This is another one of those pics that I'm including to mark a milestone, not to celebrate great photography! ;-)
Well that is a awesome title for this photo! It's so fun to see a flower shot on your page again, Anne! I miss your flowers so much. Can't wait to see these bloom.
Great title!! Cool juxtaposition of the icy hail and the bright spring green. Mine are blooming in the driveway where it is warmer, but just up about 6" in the back of the yard. Won't be long now!
this is a lovely, lovely shot, anne. i've never seen hail stones bigger than a grain of sand. well, i had, but i was driving and had to find a cover right away and didn't appreciate the hails at the time. i saw daffodil shoots too at the neighbourhood park, but they look plain in pictures if they're not wet. might go back there this morning.
it must be cold there! your spring shoots appear to be in good shape, no damage from the storm. they will probably take off and grow great guns now since you got a good rain:)
