Here's a sample of the dozens of bats we made a few years ago with our little grandson. This one has very bright wings! The coolest had black wings but they didn't catch his young eyes with the same enthusiasm. It's hard to see from the pic, but it's just one pod tucked inside the other with a one piece wing span tucked in between them. So simple. Here's the pic that made me think of this little art project:
