We were at a wedding and while pics were being taken of the wedding party in another part of the park, a young university photography student noticed my husband wandering near the river, watching the birds and asked him to pose for a pic or two. I came along a few minutes later in time to capture the "action". I posted another pic of this in my main album yesterday. A few of you wondered about the authenticity of the old equipment and as far as I know, it's old technology, not just old looking technology, ie. it's a teaching tool.
From a photo point of view, it's interesting for me to note that the student chose this view rather than the river and birds behind him.
Loved this one and the one yesterday, Anne! It's probably a great way to learn every aspect of photography. Your husband makes a great "model!" Lucky you to be there and catch these great shots!
photographers are fun to watch in action. at my niece's wedding two years ago, i was tailing the photographer everywhere he went around the ballroom during reception. he was quite good at dodging my shots. i was able to get a picture of him as he paused and took a sip of a small drink. but that wasn't good enough for me. at the end of the night, i got a picture of him with the camera against the side of his face, his face distorted from peeking in his view finder. i waved my camera at him and he could only shake his head! anne, you should've asked him to pose for you, too!
