Llanwrtyd Wells Honey by susiemc

Llanwrtyd Wells Honey

A friend of mine has several bee hives. Some of them are in his garden, the rest are in a field nearby. The bees make wonderful honey.
Love the colours Sue. I love honey - but it's so expensive to buy here in Australia at the moment. My mouth is watering, especially for the creamed honey - yum!

@subi06 Thank you Sue. It really does taste good and wonderful to know it's so very local. @craig3f2 Thank you Craig. I'm trying to improve my food and drink photography skills.

Fabulous colours - I once did a report on a honey farm in Highland Perthshire and was fascinated by the process of making sure the honey stays runny. So much to learn!

@squaresparrow The honey is on a table in my guest breakfast room. There is always a jar on the guest breakfast table (I have a B&B) and it is available for guests to buy. I moved these jars all over the place to try and get a good picture and then I moved them back to their original position (in front of the window) and simply pulled the curtain across behind them.

So glad I'm not the only person who moves food around the house to photo it - my OH thinks I'm mad! Tried to photograph my first-ever batch of chutney the other night, but struggled to find something it looked good in front of - perhaps an omen ;-)
