Hungry Chick

It poured with rain all day today but it was perfect weather for a family of blackbirds on the lawn. The worms were plentifuI. I had fun for ages watching the parents feeding 3 chicks. It was difficult to get good photos because birds, of course, never stay still and it was really quite dark because it was pouring with rain. I was taking photos from an open bedroom window.

@craig3f2 @pamelaclarke Thank you both. I was kneeling on the windowsill, on a pillow this time, for absolutely ages and I took a zillion pictures, most of which I deleted. I couldn't have photographed birds with the old system of film.
