@beryl@chimfa@foxes37 Thank you ladies for your comments. It's a beautiful river, in fact the whole of the Elan valley is beautiful - one of my favourite places. You're right Beryl, the river is quite low. It's not all due to rainfall, or lack of it. The 4 huge reservoirs which supply Birmingham with it's water are just a bit higher up and the outflow into the river is controlled.
@beryl You must go again!! It's actually somewhere you can really appreciate from the car without having to walk very far or you could use your scooter.
