Swans, Ducks and a Sea Serpent

I had to go to Llandrindod Wells today so I did a detour to the lake. It was about 9.00 a.m. and VERY cold. The lake was completely frozen over except for a bit in the middle by the sea serpent (it's a fountain). All the swans, ducks. moorhens etc that live on the lake were here. It was fascinating to see everything so close together.

Lovely lot of birds..... great capture of the icy water, the monster in the background is rather odd though !!
