I've hardly ever seen Long Tailed Tits and I've NEVER photographed one before. After I took pictures of the swans and ducks yesterday I walked around the lake and spotted about four of these little birds flitting about in the trees at the edge of the lake. They just wouldn't stay still long enough to be photographed. This was my best shot.
@thresheg Thank you Graham. They were SO difficult to photograph so I was really pleased when I uploaded all my photos and found this one among the disasters.
They are becoming more common in gardens. We never used to see them but now quite common. Often heard (high pitched squeaks) and not seen. Quite often in flocks flitting in trees and bushes in winter.
